MANAGER, SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT
Pulinsuo is looking for an experienced manager who will take on the day-to-day management of Pulinsuo’s core platform development team in Shenzhen. In collaboration with Senior Management in Canada, the Manager, Software Development will plan and manage the development and maintenance of a number of core applications, including Purkinje’s EMR and Practice Management solutions, along with various configuration tools. This position reports to the Director, Solutions Development in Montreal, Canada.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES
  1. In collaboration with the Montreal development team, manage a team of 15 to 25 developers: manage development cycles, estimates, task assignments, and project milestones.
  2. Maintain effective communications with Purkinje’s various offices.
  3. Provide regular management reports; actively manage schedule risk and take corrective action as needed.
  4. Assist with the deployment and configuration of project management tools such as Project Server, Team Foundation Server, and Sharepoint. 
  5. Ensure that project documentation and reports are kept up-to-date, organized, and accessible.
  6. Ensure that established processes and quality guidelines are followed; assist with the continuous improvement in processes, team knowledge and skills, and tools. 
  7. Assist with hiring, and with performance evaluations of personnel.
PREREQUISITES
  1. University degree (Bachelors or Masters) in a software-related field.
  2. Excellent English is a must, written and spoken.
  3. 5 years of development experience in Delphi and/or .NET. 
  4. 7 years of experience in managing complex software development projects in the database application domain.
  5. Proven expertise in a leading database management system such as SQL Server or Oracle. 
  6. Hands-on experience in managing all phases of development; management experience in China a must.
  7. Experience with standard software development lifecycles; experience in Agile software development highly desirable.
  8. Advanced knowledge of software project management tools. Familiar with Microsoft Project Server and Microsoft Sharepoint.
  9. Working experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS); experience with the CMMI process template a nice-to-have.
  10. Familiar with at least one ISO standard.
  11. Willing to relocate to Shenzhen China, and to travel to Canada for training.
  12. Strong initiative, team player, results-oriented.

The integration software developer is responsible for providing proper development and maintenance of interfaces and applications
 
This person will be developing, deploying and testing solutions using C# under visual studio 2010 within enterprise environments:
·         Develop components of the technical solution based on defined requirements
·         Develop technical specifications, perform tests, basic support and debugging
·         Identify and escalates problems and repair existing interfaces
This person will have a basic role in the integration services to analyze, develop, document, support and enhance interface communication/transaction processing between systems.
 
He will perform analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of new interfaces. He will also test, maintain, support and enhance existing interfaces
 
Competent to work at high level in all phases of application system analysis and development.
 
Maintain accurate, complete integration documentation for data flows, connectivity specifications, routing, filtering, data manipulation, problem resolution
 
The person in this position will be responsible of developing and maintaining HL7 interfaces with multiple medical systems using .net technologies and/or BizTalk server.
 
Experience with HL7 V2 and commonly used healthcare integration technologies is desirable
 
Experience in using BizTalk as a data exchange engine using healthcare HL7 standards is a plus
 
Experience
·         Hands-on experience working on component based applications in a distributed environment.
·         Experience building enterprise solutions that include integration with other clinical systems using distributed technologies such as XML, HL/7, SOAP, web services required
·         BS Computer Science or equivalent.
·         .NET, C#, SQL Server
·         XML, SOAP or Restful Web Services, WCF, TFS
·         BizTalk HL7 Adaptor pack experience is a plus
·         Played a key development role in at least 1 BizTalk/HL7 development implementations is a plus
Technical skills
·         C#, SQL, XSLT, HTML, and Citrix.
·         Web Services (ASP.Net, JAVA Script), and XML.
·         Databases (MS-SQL, Oracle), SharePoint
·         Knowledge of TFS and Agile Methodologies
·         MS-Visio, MS-Project, Enterprise Architecture, UML.
·         BizTalk Server 2010 and SQL Server 2008 setup (including configuring and performance tuning) is a definite plus
Business skills
·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·         An ability to work to project deadlines and work closely with business stakeholders
·         Client facilitation and strong communication skills are essential
·         Project management skills highly desirable
·         Proven analytical skills and use of analysis techniques
